This isn't just a fee; it covers the boots-on-the-ground work in Japan:   =Bidding & Inspection: Full translation of auction sheets and physical inspection reviews. ​ Logistics: Inland transport to the export port and all mandatory deregistration paperwork. Preparation: Japan-side customs prep and loading into containers or RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) vessels. Strategic Holding: We offer 6 months of free storage in Japan, allowing you to secure 2002+ models now and wait for their 25-year eligibility.   Step 2: Shipping & US Customs Clearance Ocean freight rates fluctuate with global demand, fuel, and port congestion. To protect your budget, we provide Locked-In Seasonal Flat Rates for the NJ/NY ports:  Low Traffic ($3,500): January–May and September–October.  Peak Season ($4,500): June–August and November–December.  Full Clearance: Our seasonal flat rate simplifies the final leg of the journey by bundling ocean freight, ISF filing, and port drayage into one transparent cost. While we handle the complexities of U.S. customs clearance and tariff management—which are subject to current regulatory adjustments—you will also benefit from 30 days of complimentary storage once your vehicle arrives on U.S. soil. ​  Step 3: The Tokyo Speed Service Fee Our tiered service fee ensures you get professional guidance without hidden markups. II. The Private Container Parts System

For serious builders, sourcing rare or discontinued parts is the biggest hurdle.

 

We use a Private Container System to bring parts directly from Japanese auctions, dealers,
and private sellers to the US.


How Parts Pricing Works:


1. Parts Cost: The actual price from the Japanese seller—transparent pass-
through with no markup.


2. Customs & Handling: A percentage-based fee covering labor, coordination, and
export/import risk.

o $0–$500 Value: 30% fee.
o $1,501–$5,000 Value: 20% fee.
o $15,000+ Value: 15% fee.


3. Container Space Fee: Charged per item based on size to keep logistics
predictable.
o Small (Trim/Lights): $125.
o Large (Doors/Fenders): $300.
o Extra-Large (Hoods/Bumpers/Seats): $350.

Wheel-Specific Logistics
Wheels are handled with a specialized flat structure: $250 Handling + $100 per
wheel ($400 per set). This includes palletizing and protective wrapping to ensure your
wheels arrive mint.
